11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." 14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." 15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." 16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven. 17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate.
Christian Libertarian Network News
2007-08-18 - This is really the first news entry
Well, the site is not officially launched yet, and we don't have a launch date but someone, and we think you know whom we're talking about -- Diana, has requested that we do updates to the site. We were blissfully procrastinating after running into programming problems with the account registration function and suddenly we received a barrage of Contacts from the site.
We're not really complaining. We were considering putting up a news page and linking near the top of the home page and the table of contents so now we have been inspired to go ahead and do that. So this is the first entry on the news page. Any entries you see below this one have actually been forged by us to make it look as though we started the news page months ago. Not really. Actually there have been several events of note that occurred prior to the date of this post and that was what got us thinking about having a news page in the first place. So now that we have a news page, we're going to post news about those events in reverse chronological order. That means they will appear below this one.

2007-07-10 - Wikipedia page completed enough to stand on it's own
Bill finally nudged the Wikipedia page far enough along that it seemed to be able to stand on it's own two feet. We have some ideas of how to expand and improve it but we're really hoping that some other Christian libertarians out there will start working on it. Since we know there are plenty of Christian libertarians out there it would detract from the legitimacy of the article if we did all the work ourselves. So come on. Don't be afraid to share what you know. Check it out at Wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_libertarianism.

2007-07-08 - The Christian libertarian Wikipedia page is resurrected
Bill finally took the encyclopedic page from this site where we had been staging it and pasted it into a new Wikipedia page. The old page that was there had disappeared, apparently deleted by the same user that created the redirect to the Christian Anarchism page. Within 30 minutes some random Wikipedia user had edited it to make it more "Wikified".

2007-3-17 - We registered the Christlib.net domain name
The .com and .org TLDs were taken because one of our list friends used to have some content on those sites and when he let them go they were snapped up search as search traps. So we decided the .net extension would have to be enough for now.
